1. Controller

Adrian Enrique Granada, GranadaScientific, Eisenbahnstr. 92/93, 16225 Eberswalde, Germany. Email: adrian@granadascientific.com. See also the legal notice.

2. In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content. Fonts are served from this server. Personal data is processed only when you visit a page (server logs) or write to me.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. For every page request the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website. IONOS anonymises the IP addresses in the logs and deletes the logs after 8 weeks at most. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

4. Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, the type of organisation you select and your message are sent to me through the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA). I use this data only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering enquiries). Formspree stores the data with Amazon Web Services in the USA. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Your data is deleted once the enquiry is concluded, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact by email

If you email me, I process your address and the content of your message in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails are received by IONOS (Germany) and forwarded to my mailbox at Google (Gmail); data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Business correspondence is kept for the statutory retention periods.

6. Partner area

Clients have a partner area that can only be reached through a personally shared link. It also sets no cookies and uses no tracking; only the server logs described in section 3 are recorded.

7. Links to other websites

This website contains plain links, for example to LinkedIn and Google Scholar. Data is sent to those providers only when you click such a link, and their privacy policies then apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Brandenburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow.
